Maxillofacial Prosthodontist, Full-Time in The Craniofacial Center

The Craniofacial Center at The University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System is seeking a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist for full-time employment. Applicants must have completed a residency in postgraduate prosthodontics and a fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics in programs recognized by the American Dental Association.  The applicant must be board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. A current and valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Illinois is required.

The individual will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary, comprehensive care team.  They must have experience with providing oral and facial prosthetic rehabilitation services for children and adults with congenital or acquired craniofacial conditions. The individual must be proficient in the placement and restoration of oral osseointegrated implants and have familiarity with the placement and restoration of craniofacial osseointegrated implants and the fabrication of adhesive and implant retained facial prostheses.  They must have experience with digital prosthetic procedures including intraoral scanning, implant planning and the design and fabrication of surgical guides and oral and facial prostheses.  The individual must also have experience in the oral management of patients receiving radiation therapy chemotherapy.
