About Our Meetings

The Annual Meeting is typically held in the United States during the months of October or November. Our program consists of a three-day Scientific Session (lectures), a Poster Session and Elective Workshops.

The purpose of the Scientific Session is to present the latest information in clinical care, education, and research. Scientific papers presented receive priority for publication in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry (JPD), the official journal of the AAMP. Fellows of the Academy organize an additional Continuing Education Course for members, guests and postdoctoral students attending the meeting. Residents of Prosthodontic Graduate Programs with appropriate documentation and other interested guests are welcome to attend the Annual Meeting. Registration and event fees may be required. A variety of exciting social activities are arranged for members, spouses and guests.

An interim meeting of the Board of Directors is held during the Chicago Midwinter Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the business of the Academy, coordinate committee activities, and finalize the plans for the Annual Meeting.
